Ariyil Waterfalls Kannur – Also known as Haritheerthankara Vellachattam (ഹരിതീർത്തകര വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം അഥവാ അരിയിൽ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടം), situated in Kankol, Alappadamba Panchayath which is 17km away from Payyanur town in Kannur district. The river starts from Vellarikkamthode, Velichamthode, then move to Ariyil near the place called Chooral and it flows to Perumba River.

As an upcoming tourist destination in Kannur, Airiyil expects more visitors in the coming years. Best to go in the month of Jun-Sept (monsoon season)
